Ruigoord is a legalized squat close to Amsterdam, which was established back in the 1970s. This ethnographic documentary dives into the lives of the artists who inhabit it nowadays and the role the place and the community play in their creative process.

About me

I'm Julia Gwioździk, a creative with experience in filmmaking, social media, and graphic design. I hold a Master's degree in Political Communication from the University of Amsterdam, where I focused on media strategies, visual analysis of political social media content, and the rise of artificial intelligence. ​

 

Although I'm originally from Poland, I've had the opportunity to live in 12 different countries before settling in the Netherlands. This background directly leads to the way I approach both my life and my creative work. I love exploring new places, ideas, and ways to create.
